Today we chat with our Labor Issues Chair, Dr. Nick Partyka regarding the fall of the Soviet Union. We discuss the USSR's war in Afghanistan and go from there, examining the leadership of the Soviet Union, especially how both Mikhail Gorbachev and Boris Yeltsin contributed to the dissolution of the Soviet Union. From there we discuss the aftermath and aftereffects of its fall and its legacy in both the US and Russia.
